Overall job function:
The PLM Support engineer has a solid experience and skills in collecting and organizing information in a efficient and meaningful way, thought out to secure and support our engineering and manufacturing environment.
They work closely with the complete organization and each equipment suppliers to achieve their tasks.
Main missions:
Understand and define state of the art PLM functionalities as an expert.
Formalize MBOM, BOE and BOP.
Pilot deliverables (MBOM, BOE and BOP) in line with projects time schedule and milestones, with support from engineers.
Train colleagues on PLM usage in line with their role and needs
Create training documents
Support teammembers on with Teamcenter needs
Understand the needs of Process and Manufacturing team, support them in articulating related PLM / Teamcenter roadmaps and projects.
Update teammates with validation requests, modifications, …
Escalate roadblockers, and suggest solutions with actions plans, working together with company wide IT & PLM teams
Establish stable links with MES systems and ensure digitalization and controls of our manufacturing processes, data, information.
Write technical specification related to PLM for process and manufacturing engineering and lead the supplier consultation up to economic and technical comparison for supplier choice.
Deploy solution and good practice in all ACC battery manufacturing plants.
Knowledge:
Master with PLM / Teamcenter system implementation in an industrial environment.
MES systems knowhow.
Data management.
Manufacturing environment, automotive technical awareness to be quick and efficient to adapt.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product life management
Qualification:
Bachelor of Sciences in Data engineering or general engineering
English is mantadory
French & German optional.
