Job description


The Data Scientist is directly in charge of analysis requested by any department. 

He/she communicates with the Data Scientist community of other business units (Industrial, HR, Finance...) in order to exchange best practices in terms of data analysis and exploitation and thus capitalize on them within the ACC global Data Platform. 


Your Main Missions as a Data Scientist will be:

  • Understand the requirements and collecting necessary data to generate insights 
  • Transform the data into an appropriate format to run the required analysis 
  • Select and collect the data needed to answer the problem, sort and select the necessary data, clean it and prepare it for analysis but also store and classify it correctly in the ACC global Data Lake repository. 
  • Create algorithms and statistical models to answer the problem. 
  • Generate data insights using the algorithms and models previously created to address the problem. 
  • Analyze the results of the valuations and make them usable and accessible in the global ACC Data Lake. 
  • Supervise and continuously improve the existing algorithms and statistical models. 
  • Industrialize the data analysis process through the industrialization of these algorithms and statistical models. 
  • Report the results efficiently insisting on insights more than technicity

Profile


Know How

  • You master the exploration and exploitation of data via SQL queries. 
  • Mastery of Python and associated ML/AI libraries: numpy, panda, scikit learn, tensorflow, keras, matplotlib, dash, streamlit.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Spark ML and optionally at least one ML Platform (example Dataiku, Datarobots) 
  • Ability to manage a data project (define objectives, mobilize stakeholders, propose appropriate solutions...). 
  • Ability to propose improvements in the field of data. 


Experience

Experience with internships or academic projects on data science use cases with a good understanding of both technical and business issues.


Qualification

BAC + 3 in Computer Science, Applied mathematics, or any quantitative field with a strong background of data science. English mastered
