Job description

You will be in charge of :

  • Lead the engineering convergence on customer projects – KPIs : consistency of mechanical and chemical responses to customer requirements, completion of the Integration and Validation Plan.

 

  • Centralize Engineering inputs/outputs from/for customer & ACC teams (purchasing, Industrialization, PMO, …) for all Engineering questions and deliverables on customer projects – KPI : Engineering data on-quality and on-time delivery

 
 

  • Guaranty Engineering deliverables are available with an accurate level of maturity as expected with ACC internal design process ; Lead internal design reviews, contribute to customer reviews - KPI : Mechanical and Chemical design reviews passed prior to each milestone.

 

  • Contribute to the update of Design Office procedures - KPI : All project lessons learned dimensioning the DO process are capitalized and shared.

Profile

Knowledge / Know how      

  • Strong knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of materials and electro-chemistry designs and processes.
  • Ability to lead concurrent technical tasks and projects.
  • Technical project leadership skills in the automotive industry.



Experience :

  • Min 5-years-experience in technical project management, including a direct customer relationship (internal or external) ideally within the field of battery design. 



Qualifications :

  • Engineering master degree.
  • Fluent in technical written and spoken English and German. French is a definite plus.

Some extra skills which make the difference

  • A CAD design experience, especially with Solidworks, in the mechanical, or chemical fields, and knowledge of Design to cost approach would be a plus.
