Job description

The Fire safety prevention expert is the reference for fire protection methods.

Main missions :

  • Defines the principles and guidance of fire protection for building and processes, according to the risk analysis that he/she has carried out, and integrates them into the corresponding process specifications.
  • Able to design safe buildings and to interact in process machinery safety
  • Contributes to the definition of internal procedures facing to incidents (technical and human resources)
  • Acknowledges the effectiveness of the proposed solutions (preventive and corrective)
  • Audits the plants
  • Works with insurers and fire departments to prepare their audits
  • Initiates and shares best practices for internal and external security alerts
  • Knowledge on protection equipment (regulatory and technical watch)



Knowledge / Know how :

Practical and technical knowledge on Fire and Fire prevention

Experience :

  • Operational incident practice / Management / Fire prevention
  • Team Management (5 years +)
  • “Industrial world” connected (trials, emergency planning)

Qualifications :

  • English
  • French Bac + 2, 3
  • Hazmat FD diplomas level 3 (RCH2-RCH3)
  • Fire prevention FD diplomas level 3 (PRV3)
