Job description

Define/Establish

  • Starting from the MBOM, define, evolve, and document the inbound and outbound flows of the raw materials and components.

  • Define the Inbound and outbound stocks (sizing, layout, investments) with respect to the ICPE.

  • Define and document the logistics flows of the materials, components, WIP, wastes, and consumables including interfaces with production processes and waste management service providers (hard & soft).

  • Define and optimize the logistics headcount.

  • Built steps of ramp-up (logistic stock and headcount).

Build:

Build the supply to the processes concerning cost, quality, timeframe, and efficiency.

Guarantee:

  • Guarantee the operational consistency between physical and logical flows through the following systems: PLM, (Packaging & logistics DB), ERP, MES, and Call Driver.

  • Guarantee the availability of logistics means and processes according to the start of production process start and ramp-up.

Lead:

  • Lead his/her collaborators in the execution of the necessary tasks and prioritize them.

  • Monitor KPIs for third-party partners and work collaboratively on performance improvement initiatives to deliver annual cost-saving targets

 Contribute:

  • Contribute to optimizing the transitions in connection with the Industrialization team.

  • Contribute to optimizing the logistics in the frame of continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the writing of the logistics standards.

  • Contribute to packaging optimization, in coordination with the Packaging team, upon request of the Gigafactory Supply Chain, Quality, or Production departments.

Profile

Knowledge / Know-how

Supply Chain Concepts, Logistics infrastructures, incl. handling & storage equipment Internal logistics in an industrial environment, Information systems in connection with logistics activities, Problem-solving tools and methodologies, Project Management, Planning

Experience (domain, number of years)

At least 5 years in the industrial supply chain

Qualifications (diplomas,…)

Supply Chain or Industrial Logistics Engineer

Key behaviors

Team spirit, Listening skills, Synthesis, Communicative, Time-conscious
