Overall job definition:

Accountable for the definition, prioritization & deployment of the MES functionalities in the Gigafactories and Pilot plant. He has a perfect understanding of MES usage in order to maximize the reuse of functionalities in all the plants.

Main missions:

• Identifies Manufacturing needs with the different plant’s representatives (production, Quality, Supply chain, Maintenance) and manages the prioritization development’s backlog with business stakeholders and IS/IT

• Defines the overall planning and versioning of the system (design, development and deployment) with the business stakeholders (production, process engineering, supply chain, quality, finance) and IS/IT

• With plant’s representatives, translates the expectations into specifications for development of the MES

• Coordinates business cross functional teams to achieve the project targets (specification, user acceptance tests, work instructions, training, deployment… )

• Develops training to support users, ensure a good appropriation by the users and guarantee planning of deployment to fit to business needs.

• Is accountable for budget, delivery times and quality  targets (QCD) of MES project in all the plants..

Knowledge:

• Good understanding of the manufacturing of products in different industries.

• Knowledge of the different functions related to manufacturing (production, process engineering, supply chain, quality, Maintenance,…) and related supporting tools (PLM, ERP, CMMS…).

• Experience in IS MES Project and ISA95 standard

• Architect capacities to consider the plant has a unique system composed by Equipments (PLC’s) and MES, in relation with PLM and ERP

• Experience in Change Management

• Solid knowledge in process mapping, functional testing tools

• Analytical skills, Pedagogic skill, Autority

Experience:

• 10 to 20 years in manufacturing activities

• 5 to 10 years in MES related activities

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and French

Key behaviours:

• Sense of organization and planning. He will coordinate the teams.

• Strong ability to manage conflicts and play the role of mediator.
