Job description

As a Member of the Modelling Team responsible for the mechanical Modelling of cells and modules at different technology readiness levels.

You will be in charge of :

  • Perform mechanical dynamic and static simulation at pack, module and cell level.
  • Able to coordinate characterization test
  • Correlate model’s vs reality to improve company experience
  • Manage internal and external projects, contracts, while collaborating with internal teams (R&D, Industrialization, Projects, Simulation, …).
  • Manage collaborations with suppliers, customers and strategic partners.
  • Contribution in the company roadmap.
  • Be up to date to the state of the art on its topic of expertise.
  • Support ongoing projects as well as do the investigations on existing products for improvements.

Profile

Knowledge / Know how      

  • Mechanical dynamic simulation (crash/crush)
  • Mech Shock and Vibration Simulation
  • Linear and Non-Linear Static Analysis


Experience :

  • Thermal/CFD/ Simulation is a plus
  • Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes 
  • Knowledge on various analytical methods commonly used in simulation


Qualifications :

  • Masters with 5+ years of experience or PhD with thesis in relevant field
  • Read, write and speak english and german fluently

Some extra skills which make the difference

  • Ability to do thermal and electrical simulations as well is a strong plus
  • French is a plus
  • MATLAB is plus
