Job description

Overall job definition:

Assembly Responsible:

  • Lead the design of each level of module assembly,

  • Ensure interfaces for modules components and for the customers,

  • Manage project phases in its technical areas,

  • Project and management reporting,

  • Mechanical technician functional follows up,

  • Define the needs necessary for mechanical prototyping phases.

  • Give Support on design issues for a permanent solution.

Main missions:

1.         Assembly Design

  • Analyse and meet module specification.

  • Lead assembly design for the all the project

  • Ensure all the interfaces with all components,

  • Ensure all the interfaces for the customers,

  • Design and development of mock-ups and prototypes

  • Be able to propose innovative solutions.

  • Deliver Design technical justification.

 

2.        Assembly characterisation and qualification

  • Assembly manufacturing follow up for A&B samples.

  • Support technical follow-up and convergence with suppliers.

  • Carrying out dimensional measurements of parts, sub-assemblies, or assemblies.

  • Performs mechanical tests of modules components, measurements, and analyses.

  • Write reports, procedures, specifications based on test results.

  • Able to capitalize on feedback to build lesson learnt.

 

3.       Project management

  • Reporting to the Module Product Leader

  • To share his experiences with others

  • Technician functional management

 

4.       Process and Production support

  • Ensure convergence with Process on the assembly.

  • Support the problem solving for assembly issues with the fields.

Profile

Knowledge:

  • Extrusion, Injection, Molding, Laser welding, Aluminum

Experience:

  • 5 years minimum of mechanical development

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Master degree

  • Fluent in technical written and spoken English.

Key behaviours:

  • Autonomous , Motivated , Proactivity, team spirit , synthetic reporting

Some skills which make the difference:

  • Knowledge on the Li-Ion batteries will be a plus.
