Join us and be a pioneer for a green transport revolution.
Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is one of Europe’s newest and most exciting high-tech companies. Backed by Saft-Total and PSA-Opel, ACC is set to power the future of the automotive industry by innovating in battery technology.
We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a cleaner alternative to current energy sources. We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.
We need a range of skilled and agile people to bring our vision to life, especially in the areas of industrialization, mechanical design, testing/prototyping and any other function of a new-born company. If you’re looking to take your career further than you imagined, if you’re passionate about creating cleaner transport, we’d like to hear from you.
Accelerating sustainable mobility for all_
A simulation engineer is capable to create simulations models, understand and present them in order to help the factory improve its production tool.
Main missions :
- Build digital models of production systems
- Simulate and analyze physical flows (of products, AGVs, AMR, ...) In close collaboration with the engineering, the project teams and the factory.
- Analyze the simulation results in order to provide answers on the sizing of the workshop (number of machines and size of stocks) and on the identification of bottleneck points.
- Propose improvements to the organization of the plant (organization of production, flows, ...)
Knowledge / Knowhow :
Knowledge of the operation of a factory (production system, internal logistics, ...)
Knowledge of breakdown laws used to represent machine downtime
At least some industry experience.
Key behaviours :
Team Spirit, Analysis, Autonomy, Organized
Ability to learn quickly
Self-challenge : setting goals and progressing without counting your hours
Strong curiosity and a bit of eclecticism
Ease of communication (very important) written and oral: there is a lot of communication especially towards non-experts
Some extra skills which make the difference :
Has already used a software flow simulation software Plant Simulation. Experience in an object-oriented programming language is a plus.
