Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is one of Europe’s newest and most exciting high-tech companies. Backed by Saft-Total, Stellantis-Opel and Mercedes-Benz, ACC is set to power the future of the automotive industry by innovating in battery technology.

We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a cleaner alternative to current energy sources. We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.

We need a range of skilled and agile people to bring our vision to life, especially in the areas of industrialization, mechanical design, testing/prototyping and any other function of a new-born company. Define information needed to be able to produce reporting required under the different subsidies contracts :

•   by Work Package (+ site) , by nature, by generation of cells…
• frequency
• nature of expenses and mapping with typology of each subsidies’ contract
• supporting documentation (invoices, payments dates)
• adapt procedures accordingly and implement it in the information reporting system

Build extracts from information reporting system to produce reporting in accordance with requirements from the different subsidies contracts

• Quarterly reporting
• Annual reporting (including IPCEI reporting consolidating France & Germany data) / funding request
• Claw-back calculations

Guarantee the quality of reporting to the grantors :

• Organise review and certification by the auditors
• Answer questions from grantors and/or their auditors, provide them with all supporting documentation

Contribute to the update of Business Plan to reflect subsidies management:

• Approved eligible costs
• Cash received from subsidies
• Model of claw-back calculations
• Answer to shareholders

Prepare justification of accounting for subsidies under IFRS, local accounting principles and tax purposes

• Participate in discussions about treatment of operations (purchasing, leasing, hedging, OPEX vs CAPEX, production …..) to optimize subsidies management…

Knowledge / Know how

Accounting (IFRS) and French Gaap Reporting

Experience (domain, number of years)

10 years in Finance & accounting

Qualifications (diplomas,…)

Master degree in Finance

French and English fluent
